Probably has something to do with individual income tax returns coming due this month. There are some good resource links in this article that I found at
Financial Literacy and Education Commission (FLEC)
The Financial Literacy and Education Commission (FLEC), established in 2003, developed a national financial education website, a hotline, and a National Strategy (.PDF document) on financial education. FLEC is composed of the Secretary of the Treasury, who chairs the commission, and 22 federal entities.
The Commission encourages the government and the private sector to educate and inform the public about good money management practices, use of credit and banking services, savings and investing strategies, and other financial issues. FLEC is required to hold public meetings every four months.
1.888.MY.MONEY (1.888.696.6639) is the federal government’s toll-free hotline accessible to the public seeking information about federal financial education materials. Information is available in English and Spanish, and the hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET (except federal holidays).
Please visit MyMoney.gov for an extensive library of federal publications on a wide range of money-related topics, including budgeting, taxes, credit, homeownership, paying for education, and saving for retirement. At MyMoney.gov, you can also order a free tool kit of helpful financial publications.
FLEC is not the publisher and cannot provide legal advice pertaining to the legality of the sale or further use of the FLEC publications. If you were planning to copy and distribute this information, especially for profit, it would be best to contact the publishing agency for permission and consult a lawyer.
